Meet StrongFirst Instructors present at Open Day:

Andżelika Stefańska-Kowalik 🇵🇱

Country Leader for StrongFirst in two countries, Bulgaria and Lithuania, where she regularly conducts training and raises awareness about hardstyle kettlebell training and Pavel Tsatsouline’s school. Professionally, she helps busy individuals build strength using kettlebells, barbells, and bodyweight exercises. She also specializes in training to improve joint mobility and muscle flexibility. As a StrongFirst Senior Certified Instructor and Flexible Steel Instructor Specialist, she trains and examines instructors during certifications worldwide, including in the USA, China, Italy, South Korea, Greece, Spain, Germany, and Taiwan. She holds the title of Elite Instructor.

In her coaching, she combines the philosophy of the eastern martial art of Kung Fu with StrongFirst principles. A four-time medalist at the World Wushu Championships and a long-time representative of the Polish National Team. Founder and head of the Centrum Kettlebell Kraków – StrongFirst Gym and author of the online courses Tiger-Zone Better Be Strong. She believes that strength is a choice.

Maya Licheva 🇧🇬

Maya Licheva, certified SFG II, SFB, and Flexible Steel instructor, with over 10 years of experience in coaching and functional training. The first StrongFirst certified instructor in Bulgaria, specializing in kettlebell hardstyle, bodyweight exercises, and ground-based movements.

„I believe we live better when we move better. Training develops strength and resilience, but also skills and awareness throughout life. I focus on movement quality, technical proficiency, and long-term movement habits. I work with training enthusiasts and instructors looking to refine their skills.

Being part of StrongFirst is both an honor and a responsibility – to uphold its principles, maintain high knowledge standards, and inspire others to strive for strength and quality in movement.”

Nikolay Dervishev 🇧🇬

The founder of the private training studio “The Skills Lab” in Sofia – a place where people discover strength and confidence they never imagined they had. Here, trainees know their long-term well-being comes first.

For Nikolay, strength is both a mindset and a conscious choice – the choice to take responsibility for your health and your life. He makes that choice every single day – with absolute dedication and zero tolerance for mediocrity.

His mission is to inspire people to actively take care of their health and, through his example, to motivate others.

Hristo Kabadzhov 🇧🇬

I have over 20 years of experience in strength training with weights and bodyweight. In recent years, kettlebells have become a primary tool in my work, and I am a certified StrongFirst SFG I Instructor.

I am passionate about the mountains and trail running, as well as BJJ practices, which broaden my understanding of movement, resilience, and working with the body in dynamic and unpredictable environments. In my practice, I apply breathing techniques and controlled exposure to cold to enhance recovery, focus, and mental toughness.

I work with people who want to become stronger, move better, and train without pain. My vision is healing through movement and building a resilient, functional body adapted to today’s sedentary lifestyle. During training and educational sessions, my focus is on safe technique, long-term progress, and strength that carries over beyond the gym.

Strong body – strong mind.

Belkaz Sadak 🇧🇬

Powerlifter and Certified StrongFirst SFG I Instructor

I believe that strength is a skill that is built with iron discipline and an intelligent approach. As an active Powerlifter, I know the weight of the bar and the price of success on the platform.

In the StrongFirst methodology, I found the missing link – the precision and control that transform raw strength into longevity and athleticism.

My goal is to show every trainee that it doesn’t matter how heavy the kettlebell is, if you know how to bend it to your will through proper technique and tension.

Antonio Angelov 🇧🇬

Movement is at the heart of my professional and personal journey. With a medical degree, 12 years of experience as a trainer and international practice, including 4 years of work in Austria, I have dedicated my career to the holistic development of human potential – physically and mentally.

As a StrongFirst Certified Instructor and having completed a number of additional specializations, I combine a scientific approach, functional strength and precision in the training process. My practice as an acupuncturist complements my holistic view of health, recovery and injury prevention. I believe that true strength is not just a matter of muscles, but of balance, control and resilience.

I am the founder of Anthony Movement Studio – a space created with the mission of helping people move freely, without pain and limitations, and build confidence in their own bodies. In my work, I emphasize an individual approach, long-term results and building discipline and awareness.

Sports have been an integral part of my life since the age of 8. Vice Republican Powerlifting Champion in 2010, participant in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Cross Triathlon competitions.

My main goal is to help people build strong, functional and resilient bodies, move without pain and limitations, and develop discipline and awareness that go beyond the boundaries of sports. I believe that through proper movement, knowledge and perseverance we can not only improve our physical condition, but also become better and more aware individuals.
