This is a workshop for those who want to learn how to train with kettlebells from scratch, want to learn the methodology of hardstyle kettlebell training according to StrongFirst or/and how to best prepare for the SFG Kettlebell Instructor Certification in accordance with the StrongFirst guidelines, recommendations and programs.

StrongFirst Workshops are conducted exclusively by StrongFirst-licensed Teachers of Strength. One of them is Andżelika Stefańska-Kowalik – StrongFirst Elite Instructor, StrongFirst Senior Instructor and Flexible Steel Instructor Specialist.

You have been around the kettlebell block. It is time to set your sights high: the SFG Kettlebell Instructor Certification.

Among the many challenges you will have to face at this life changing event are the double kettlebell drills. The “double trouble”…

If you have enough strength and muscle mass to satisfy you, stick with single kettlebell training.

If you do not, read on.

For all the good arguments made by the “functional training” advocates in favor of training one side of the body at a time, they missed one key point. Once you have reached a certain level of strength and muscular development, it is difficult to go beyond if you stick with unilateral loading, be it with a single kettlebell, or some other modality. You will not find NFL linemen who arrived by doing “Bulgarian split squats.”

The strongest people stand on both feet and press and pull with both hands when they lift. Because no unilateral exercise can replicate the jolt to your endocrine system delivered by a heavy bilateral load.

(None of the above diminishes the value of training one side at a time to pursue the body symmetry while preparing oneself for the life’s asymmetry. No point in blaming the screwdriver for being a poor hammer.)

Double kettlebell training has an unforgivingly high entry barrier: mobility, stability, and symmetry of an Olympic weightlifter or a yoga expert. You had to pay your Kettlebell 101 and 201 dues before taking on the 301.

Kettlebell Workshop 301 sets high goal - SFG1 Instructor Certificate - and gives you the skills and road map to achieve it.

See what you can expect on the individual Kettlebell 101, 201 and 301 modules. If you want to prepare for the StrongFirst Kettlebell SFG1 Instructor Certification, it is best for you to take part in all three modules.

Strength and mobility prolong youth and give independence.

I specialize in training that builds strength and endurance using kettlebells, barbells and your own body weight, as well as in training that improves joint mobility and increases muscle flexibility without losing their strength. In my coaching work, I combine the philosophy of the traditional martial art of Kung Fu and the StrongFirst school of strength. As a Medical Trainer / Movement Therapist (annual Blackroll® Therapy Certification) certified by REPs, I help people struggling with pain and after injuries return to physical activity, fitness and full strength. Training and movement without pain – it’s possible!

I manage the IRBIS Sports Center & Martial Art School in Krakow, and I am the founder and head coach of the Center Kettlebell Krakow. I regularly train instructors abroad on certifications, e.g. in the USA, France, China, England, South Korea, Spain, Greece, Taiwan, Italy and Germany.

I am a four-time medalist of the Traditional Wushu/Kung Fu World Championships in China and a longtime representative of the Polish National Wushu/Kung Fu Team.

☆ REFUND POLICY ☆

What if you cannot attend the workshop? Regardless of the reason why you are unable to attend the workshop you have purchased, the refund policy is as follows:

  • Up to 14 days from the date of purchasing the workshop, you have the right to resign from participating in the workshop and recover 100% of the amount paid.
  • If you resign from the workshop within 14 days before the workshop, the fee is not refunded.
  • In the event of resignation from the workshop within 14 days from the date of purchase and up to 14 days before the workshop, you get a refund of 50% of the amount paid.

At any time after purchasing the workshop and no later than 2 days before the workshop, you can transfer your purchased place to another person who is not registered for the workshop.
